2012 I Saltri Amarone della Valpolicella

Wonderfully ripened fragrance with notes of ripe blackberries, juniper, toast, dark chocolate and a touch of rosemary; exuberant body, balancing between fruit and fullness, wonderfully matured finish with beautiful tannins integrated into the fullness - a wine like a fine salon with plush armchairs. Likely 5 to 6 years further development potential and nice to roast saddle of venison, porcini mushrooms in cream or fillet pink.
