2023 STRUWWELPITTER dry, blend of Riesling, Mueller-Thurgau and the PIWI varieties Cabernet Blanc and Sauvignac

quality wine Mosel,10.5 % alcohol, bottled by the producer estate Julia Molitor-Justen and Dr. Daniel Molitor in Kinheim-Kindel/Mosel, Germany. https://viermorgenhof.de/Startseite/

Green points are for dry up to 12% alcohol - see our rating system. I noted: Floral scent of candied lemon peel, apple compote, herbal sweet; lively and strong on the palate with hints of a natural lemon drink and a tick of pepperoni in the finish. In short: a wine that brings fun, well suited as an aperitif with finger food, smoked fish or pasta, fresh ligntness by pleasant 10.5 %. This review represents my personal opinion. The ratings in the bonvinitas wine guide have been doing blindly with neutral experts by the same rating system for both.

Daniel Molitor's vines by minimal pruningDaniel Molitor's vines by minimal pruning

Daniel Molitor produced this wine by minimal pruning of the vines, in which the vines are cut back much less and are allowed to grow more naturally. Because the vine is actually a liana plant that climbs up trees. Daniel Molitor: "We were one of the pioneers. Our first minimal cutting vineyard are already around 20 years old. The spaces between the rows has to be a little wider, the grapes are becoming a little smaller and looser and grow more in the shade, which is a real advantage because of the global warming, so we are getting more fresh aromas into the wines, less overripe ones
