Both wines go very well with strong meat dishes, even spicier ones.
Waldulmer Winzergenossenschaft
The wines show that great red wines of international type also grow in Germany at the Black Forest’s edge. Because the members of the Waldulmer cooperative not only plant Pinot Noir, but also Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for such wines. With 100 hectares and 120 members with good cohesion, the community practically forms a large estate. It is noteworthy that Waldulm is located in a side valley of the Acher and the vineyards, contrary to the usual ones on the edge of the Black Forest, mainly look southeast towards the ridge of the Black Forest and soak up the morning sun.
The reviews represent my own opinion parallel to the bonvinitas wine awards. Look the 100 point bonvinitas evaluation system used by both sides.
